Gallery Yamaki Fine Art
Gallery Yamaki Fine Art has exhibited a diverse range of contemporary art in central Kobe since July 2006.
The gallery specializes in postwar art from Japan and Europe, including works by former members of Japanese groups such as “the Gutai Art Association,” Takesada MATSUTANI, Sadamasa MOTONAGA, and Sadaharu HORIO, “Mono-ha/ School of Things,” Susumu KOSHIMIZU and Kenji INUMAKI, and the French simultaneous movement, “Support / Surface”, Claude VIALLAT, and Louis CANE, who were active from the late 1960s to the early ’70s.
We strive to provide collectors and art enthusiasts with a truly unique selection of works in each of our exhibitions, which number five or more each year.
