Gallery Collaborations

Imura art gallery first opend its door in Kyoto, Japan in 1990 as the contemporary art space in the city. Kyoto has been a centre of Japanese culture introducing a wide range of art works, traditional to contenporary. Situated in such an attractive city, our art gallery has gained reputation as a contemporary art gallery by representing and exhibiting some of the most interesting art works which is somewhere following the traditional technique, both on the international and national stage.

Mizuma Art Gallery has established art spaces in several countries, including Mizuma Gallery in Singapore, which promotes Japanese and other East Asian artists in the Singapore area and introduces Southeast Asian artists to the international art scene.
Mizuma Gallery participates annually in international art fairs including Art Basel Hong Kong and The Armory Show New York, promoting Asian artists on an international art scale. Mizuma Gallery also participates actively in regional art fairs since 2015, such as Bazaar Art Jakarta (now known as Art Jakarta) and the most recent Taipei Dangdai.
In 2013, Mizuma Gallery presented Yamato Dynamics in Singapore with the cooperation of imura art gallery.
